I Am SO Ready For Summer To Be Over So That I Can FULLY Glow This Fall! Who Is With Me?

When I tell you guys that summer has been a hot mess! I mean that literally and figurately! I don't know about you guys but I have been melting every day of this month and I am absolutely over it! I cannot wait for the Fall so that I can wear makeup without feeling like a melting clown every day of the week! However, I must say that even though the weather has been hideous, I have found a few different ways to apply my makeup so that it can be long-lasting throughout this summer heat!

I am the type of person that likes to use the same products over and over again and I rarely try anything new! I am a firm believer that if it works well then there is no need to change it! However, I have stumbled across a few new things that I have been loving lately and I thought I'd share them with you over on the blog today!

First things first, let's talk about this Aveeno Positively Radiant Max Glow Drops! I absolutely LOVE this stuff! This was originally something I decided to buy in the wintertime to combat dry skin and I have continued to use it throughout most of the summer! I am down to the last little drop now and plan to repurchase this as soon as I run out! #HIGHLYRECOMMEND 

Ok so, I am not gonna lie, for the longest time I have worn my Cover Girl Makeup in the shade Tawny for absolute years but a few months ago I decided to go back to my MAC Studio Fix Powder and I must say I have been loving the smooth finish that it has been giving me in the last few months. I don't know what made me stop wearing this brand in the first place but I am glad that I decided to give it a try again! I think the last time that I tried it is when I was a freshman in college #old except back then they did not have as many shade range options as they do now!

My current shade is NW45 and it is the PERFECT match which we all know is hard to find for women of color but I am proud to say that this one does my skin tone justice! *praise break*!

My Anastasia Dip Brow is bae! Always has been and always will be! Can you believe I was once one of those girls that would apply makeup and NOT fill in my eyebrows? TRAGIC! I have learned my lesson and now it is the most important step in my makeup routine!

Grant it, I am not the BEST at filling in my eyebrows but I do like to lightly go over the areas that are sparse and call it a night! I am faaaaarrrr from being an MUA and I am more than ok with that! Ha!

And last but not least, I love to GLOW GLOW GLOW honey! My current highlight powder of choice is my Laura Mercier translucent powder in the shade medium deep! Of course, I am a little heavy-handed when it comes to this stuff but I just love the natural finish that it adds to my makeup! It may be a bit pricy but a little goes a verrrry long way because I have this powder for quite some time now! Actually, most of my makeup lasts a long time mainly because I don't wear it every day which is a huge plus for me and my wallet and who doesn't like to save a penny here and there? Ha!
