Breakfast Of The Week: My FAVORITE Things I Have Been Eating This Summer!
Happy Wednesday everyone! We are halfway through the week and I couldn't be more excited about it! Today is very special because I am going to share with you all of my favorite breakfast foods I have been really enjoying this summer! If you're anything like me then sometimes you may feel like you're falling into a hole of eating the same things day in and day out! This happens to me all the time and lately, I have been trying to introduce new ways to spice up my morning breakfast routine and today I am going to share with you what has been working for me! Let's go ahead and get started!
MONDAY
You guys KNOW I love my bagels! For the longest time, I would always add Nutella or cream cheese to my bagels but lately, I have been using Cookie Butter! This is the most amazing combination in the world and I eat it at least twice a week! You can always add strawberries or bananas on top for a little extra pizazz! Let me know if you try this one!
TUESDAY
On Tuesday I decided to treat myself to breakfast out in the city! I like to hop on a train and head to my favorite cafe for their yummy oatmeal bowl and caramel apple spiced cider! You guys know I LOVE my oatmeal to have granola, honey, fruit and coconut thrown in for good measure! This little meal helps me feel fuller for longer periods of time and it is super yummy!
WEDNESDAY
On Wednesday I decided to keep it short and simple! Today was a very busy day and I needed something that I could grab on the go! I love this Oikos yogurt in the flavor strawberries n' cream because it is soooo creamy and filling! I also like to pair this yogurt with a quick Nutri Grain bar to add a little something extra to my morning breakfast run!
THURSDAY
Today I decided to treat myself to a little Acai bowl! I am not very picky when it comes to Acai bows, my only request is that it is filled with lots of ingredients and sweet! I decided to add a few bananas, granola, strawberries., blueberries and honey! At first, I thought this bowl wasn't going to fill me up but I ended up taking quite a bit of it back home with me because there was THAT much left in the bowl! I can assure you that this made a good little treat to have for a snack later in the day!
FRIDAY
On Friday I decided to keep it simple at home! I don't know if you guys have ever tried Malt-O-Meal but it is the yummiest thing you could ever make in the entire world! All it requires is a little carnation milk, butter and hot water on the stove and you're good to go! For a little extra flavor add a little brown sugar and nutmeg and it will taste like Fall in a cup! After I made this bowl, I crawled into my bed, hopped on Netflix and enjoyed the rest of my morning! It was the perfect way to get the day started!
