Blue Is NOT My Favorite Color BUT I Always Knew I Looked Amazing In It!

Ok, you guys here's the catch, blue isn't my most favorite color in the world but when I saw this dress I knew I had to have it. I know you're probably thinking "you say that about everything you buy" well this time it's different! This time I am in love! Ha! As most of you guys know, I love to do a bit of second hand from time to time! I honestly feel like the thrift stores have the most unique options at the moment and it's waaaaay more affordable than the things they are selling in the stores at the moment. #seriously

The funny thing is I actually purchased this dress during the Christmas holidays and am just now getting around to actually wearing it. I don't know what took me so long to wear it but I am going to chalk it up to the fact that it was blue and not something that I would normally wear. Thankfully this past weekend it has been soooo hot that I have been reaching for things that are lightweight and breezy in my wardrobe. After months of reaching past this dress, I decided that today would be the day that I would give this little beauty a chance.

As soon as I popped this little dress on, I knew it was the one for me! I instantly became regretful of all of those times that I opted not to wear this dress and vowed to wear it as much as I can for the rest of this summer and upcoming fall seasons! At first, I was starting to think that this dress wasn't meant to be but now I know that we are style soulmates and I am going to wear this dress for a long time to come!

One of my favorite things that I love about this dress is its beautiful A-Line shape and long white striped detailing. I know sometimes stripes and polka dots can be kinda hard to style but lately, I have been all about those stripes! When it comes to prints I always say go big or go home and be confident in how you wear and style it! The bolder the outfit, the more you'll stand out, and who doesn't love a little extra attention? :)

Also, I just want to make a quick note that maybe I should add more blue things to my wardrobe now! Ha! What do you guys think? Do you think this is just a phase or am I only in love with this dress? Ha!

Either way, I know for sure that this little dress is in my wardrobe to stay! And before you guys start judging me I just want to add that I know you all have that ONE item that's in your closet that you overlook quite often! I am challenging you to grab that little item and give t a chance out here in these streets! You never know, you might actually LIKE it just as much as I love my blue dress now!
