Travel Guide: Visiting Retro 521 Coffee Cafe & Venue In Shreveport, Bossier!
Shreveport Louisiana Travel Guide: Best Coffee & Tea In The City
As soon as we arrived, I noticed that there were these cute little signs outside of the building to let you know that you have arrived! I love a place that puts thought into their ambiance and presence so you better believe I was already impressed before I even went inside.
Even though it was freezing outside, you know I couldn't help myself and get a little selfie with my love!!
Anyways, we weren't inside the building for two seconds before I already knew what I wanted to order; and that was a warm cup of Lavender tea! Yum! I love me some Lavender and I could not wait to get my hands on a cup!
Oh, and what a surprise, they sell Lemon Lavender cake as well! And yes, you better believe I ordered that cake too! Ha! I know I should expand my horizons a bit and order something else but I couldn't help myself, I had to have it! As a matter of a fact, it was a very hard decision on what to order because they do offer a wide variety of things such as:

Not only do they have an amazing food menu but their decor/ambiance is very cozy, quiet, and amazing! They have chairs everywhere, little private rooms, and chairs facing different angles so that you can have a little privacy while you're chatting it up with a friend.
Everything is very unique, from the straw holder all the way to the coffee displays in the corner! I would say this place definitely captured that retro, 80's vintage vibe in the middle of 2019 and I am loving it!
This is the face of someone who is ready to make their order but I won't stop taking selfies! Ha! #YOLO
And our food has arrived! We both ordered something different so that we can try as many things as possible! As mentioned above, I ordered the Lavender Tea with the Lemon Lavender Cake on the side while my boyfriend ordered a Macchiato coffee and cheese, egg, sausage, and bacon Croissant!
I just love how my tea came with its own little teapot filled with a fresh batch of Lavender tea! So cute!
Also, babe said his coffee was a hit and that he really loved the cup that it was served in! I told him "good job for paying attention to detail" and we both pretty much cracked up about it! π
All in all, if I could give this place a 5-star rating I totally would! Everything about this coffee shop was aesthetically pleasing, cozy, and had amazing customer service. If you're interested in visiting, I would recommend time and time again! Anyways, If you decide to visit let me know what you think in the comments down below! Happy Monday!
