Hey guys and welcome to a brand new blog post! I hope everyone is doing well on this lovely Monday morning because I know I am! Today I woke up and decided to choose happiness not only in my life but in my wardrobe as well! Yall know I am a firm believer in getting dressed even when I genuinely don’t feel like it because it truly brightens my mood! This is often why I will choose to wear bright colors in the winter even when the world of style likes to enter into the “darker color” vibes! As we all know, the world truly loves to fantasize about winter because it is often associated with being cozy and Christmassy but the fact of the matter is loads of people will often fall into a “winter depression” once the high of the holidays officially pass us by! One of the ways I like to fight that depression is by making sure I continue to keep my wardrobe vright and colorful so that i can keep my energy lifted high to the sky!
When I woke up this morning I decided to make my outfit super colorful and vibrant to match the day that was ahead of me! I normally don’t like to be out here in these streets but I had a few errands that I needed to run so i decided that this was the perfect day to bust out my new favorite thrifted overalls!
I have been waiting to wear these beautifies for a hot minute and I am glad that I was able to put together a cute little outfit for the day! I don’t know about anyone else but when I wear something colorful i autimatically feel like i am going to accomplish the goals that i set out to do for the day!
Everything that I have on is from the thrift store (except for my face mask) and I am super proud of that! Yall know I am always looking for deals and thrills so you can imagine my excitement when I was able to put together this entire look for under $25! Most of my clothing items had already been purchased towards the beginning of last year so I have finally been leaving the house which has been giving me a great incentive to get dressed every other day! Another favorite highlight from this entire look has to be my new handbag! My mama actually thrifted this and I begged her for it and was super happy when she decided that it was meant more for me than her! What a blessing, lol!
