Happy Diaries: Will We Make It Through August Alive?

Hey guys and welcome to a brand new blog post! I don't know about you guys but I am sooo happy to see August that it's not even funny! I don't know why but I just keep getting my hopes up that the next few months will be getting better and not just for me but for the whole entire world! And even though life has been pretty strange I do have a little list of things that have brought me happiness this week! So let's catch up shall we?

A Few Happy Things

• First of all, can we chat about the fact that Moesha has arrived at Netflix this week! When I tell you this show is sooo nostalgic and unapologetically black and I am LIVING for it! Not only were the styles on point but the plot lines were truly ahead of its time! Also, rewatching the show reminds me of why I wouldn't go back to highschool for nothing in the entire world! #drama
• Have any of you guys noticed that we are already on the third day of the month! When I tell you that I am shooketh! I am shook! However, I am very excited for spooky season to arrive and all of the Fall cuteness that comes along with it. I know things will look kinda different this year but I plan on doing the best that I can to create a little bit of magic around me! I really want the year to end on a spectacular note for everyone and I think a lot of that will come from the good Lord and the eyes of the beholder!
• I just want to send a little check-in and say that I am still drinking 100% of my coffee from home! I have not stepped foot into a cafe and even though it is very sad I truly believe that my wallet is happy about it! Lately, I have been back in love with my funfetti coffee creamer, and of course my favorite coffee brew by community coffee! I always splurge a little bit on home coffee so that I can always have that cafe spirit right from my bedroom!
• Has anyone else started on their Fall shopping? I haven't yet but I am getting excited about it. Grant it, the weather doesn't get too wild around here in the south but it does get cool enough for sweaters, boots, and stockings! I need to really focus on finding those cooler clothes to style with the outfits in my wardrobe because we all know how much I cannot stand shopping in season!
• And last but not least, let's chat about the fact that I did a little bit of spring cleaning in my room! I don't know about anyone else but I feel like I have been making more messes a home than what I do when I leave the house every day! Can someone explain this phenomenon to me? Anyways, since I cleaned out my closet and bathroom cabinets I am feeling like a whole brand new gal! I guess sometimes you just need a little spruce up to feel good about life again!

Anyways, that's just a little look at all of the things that have brought me joy this week! Grant it, I know it isn't anything fancy BUT that is kinda the point! Happiness can be found in anyone and everything you just have to be willing to fight for it. Welp, that's all I kinda wanna chat about tonight!
