All About Those Quirky Finds: MADTV, Tea Pots, And Dolls!
Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new blog post! What has everyone been up to! I have been spending the week catching up on life and I finally have a second to hop on the blog and share a few things. First things first, is anyone else soooo over the rain? It has been pouring cats and dogs around here and I am ready for it to be over! I mean, it is summertime and I would like it to get back with the program! Ha! Grant it, the rain does bring about cooler days so I ain't too mad about it. I just don't really like navigating the rain when I have busy weeks such as this one. But, I won't' complain too much because I did get to go the thrift store and grab a few cute things and I thought I would take you guys along for the ride this time!

Ok, so first things first, has anyone ever actually seen a MADTV magazine in real-time? I used to catch a little glimpse of this show here and there when I was younger but I am pretty sure it wasn't for young people and I am almost certain it was just showing reruns by the time I was able to take a peep at it! Anyways, as soon as I saw this magazine it just made me feel all nostalgic and reminiscing about the '90s! You would think that one would be used to all of the good feelings that you get while thrifting but I guess not! Anyways, that's not the only good thing I have seen in the thrift store lately so let's stop with all the yapping and just hop right into this post shall we?

Now you guys know how much I love a good handbag and I truly feel like this one is no exception from the rules. This purse was so cute and I totally would have bought it if it weren't for the fact that I already have several just like them at home! # controlmyself

And of course another MADTV magazine! Will you guys judge me if I told you I have never seen E.T. before? I just have a strange feeling that it's over-hyped BUT I did enjoy the E.T. ride at Universal Studios a few years back if that counts for anything!

Now you already know this thrift trip wouldn't be anything if I didn't head over to the trinket section to see what I could get my hands on! I normally end up on this side of the thrift store when I want to buy things that I really don't need! Do I need a brand new teapot? Probably not! Did I think hard about buying this? I probably did!! LOL!

In a strange turn of events, I stumbled upon the dolls section, and needless to say, I wasn't creeped out ONLY because there wasn't a raggedy ann doll in the lineup! I don't know why but I was never the type to let my dolls just sit on top of my dresser, I swear it would give me the scarredy cats at night time! Ha!

I almost never slide into a thrift store without looking through a couple of albums to bring home. On this day in particular I had this strange urge to sift through a couple of Christmas albums! It's never too early to get in the spirit, is it? #toosoon?

And last but certainly not least is this....well...I don't know what it is but he sure felt like he was still alive and ready to run away from me! Ha! I would never have the courage to rock something like this. I think if I did I would feel guilty if I passed even a dog on the street because I know it would be judging me! Thankfully it stays hot literally 80% of the year so I never have to worry about investing in something this furry! Ha! Would you wear this? Let me know in the comments down below! Welp, that just about ties up today's post! Other than that I haven't gotten into too much of anything because outside still ain't open! I will be back to chat with you guys later this week! See ya around!
