Restyle Recap: New Thrifted Outfits, Making It Through And Feeling Grateful!
Hye guys! How's it going? I am not gonna be completely honest and say this week has been kiiinda....
weird and hard seeming as there has been alooooot going on in people's lives! Unless you have been living under a rock the past few days then you guys already KNOW how hard rough the days have been since this past Sunday. Honestly, when I found out the news about Kobe and the 9 others I almost didn't know how to feel! I haven't cried about it yet but I must say that it has been pulling on me emotionally. For the first time this year, I felt like it was wrong to post on any social media about my life when the world was clearly in an abrupt stop ya know? I can honestly say that I have been doing a lot of reflecting lately on the things that are going on in life and I want to focus on my personal relationships more but it's honestly sooooo hard because I am not 12 years old anymore and I have more responsibilities now than I ever have in my entire life! But after this Sunday I realize that that's not really an excuse and I really need to reprioritize what's really important to me because honestly, life is just too short for anything else at the moment.
With that being said, I just want to say that I am grateful to just be alive. Every time I say that now it feels like a little weight in my chest....im just happy to be alive, happy and well yall....
Sigh... well now that I got that off my chest let's switch gears to something a little lighter shall we?
I recently went to the thrift store and I found the world's cutest dress! As soon as I saw it I KNEW I had to have it in my life! This all-linen beauty was only $8 and I think it was totally worth it! I know that that is a little pricier than what I would normally pay but sometimes you gotta break the bank for what you want in life! Ha!
My favorite detail about this entire look is the fact that I can tie a little bow around the front! If there are two things I love on my dresses it's a good bow and a cute floral collage! Ha!
I decided to wear this little outfit to church this past weekend and it made me feel super confident and I can't wait to restyle it multiple ways this winter and spring!
And you know how I feel about these cheetah boots I thrifted two winters ago! Ugh! I love em! I try to find ways to wear them as much as I can because it doesn't stay cold that long in the south so you know I gotta rock these while I can!
Anyways, that's all I wanted to pop on and share with you guys. PS: Remember, take care of yourself.
Always Living and Forever Learning,
