Christmas 2019: Food, Funny Moments, Cute Movies And Lots Of Laughter!
Hey guys! Another successful Christmas has come and gone and ya girl really enjoyed herself! I am up drinking a nice cup of coffee and just reliving how dreamy yesterday was! I could not wait to wake up, slide on my comfy pajamas and cozy socks so that I could relive the moments of Christmas! But the day is gone now and now everything is just a little memory! I thought I would pop over on the blog and share a little recap of the fun times that went on yesterday! I hope you enjoy it and Happy Holidays!
You know it's not a blog post unless I start this thing off with coffee! I have been loving my Southern Butter Pecan by international delight and it has been sooo yummy! Ps: can we also talk about these cookies that are mysteriously apart of everyone's childhood? Well, we have some to have with our coffee and YES they are still yummy!
I helped my mama wrap the Christmas gifts this year (which is our favorite thing to do) and I could not WAIT for everyone to see what they got! It never gets old seeing everyone so excited about their gifts!
Now you KNOW we had to do it BIG when it came to Christmas dinner! My mama made fried fish and it was soooooo good! It was one of my favorite parts of the meal as a whole!
And of course, you know we had to have a little seafood boil as well! There were lots of shrimp, corn, eggs and other yummy seafood!
Ok I lied, my favorite part of the meal was DEF the Lobster tails! Oweeeee I wish I had some now! Ha!
I have been looking for this Blue Bell Ice Cream for the LONGEST! I love anything Mardi Gras flavored and I was super happy when I finally was able to get my hands on a gallon of it!
Not only was it super sweet but it was everything I had hoped it would taste like! AMAZINGLY GOOD!
You guys KNOW I had several scoops of it because it was just THAT good! I am already thinking about getting a scoop now! Ha!
And last but not least my mama made her famous lemon cake! Yum! It tasted sooo amazing combined with the ice cream and now I want this every single day of my life! Ha! Anyways, as the night began to wind down we just watched movies, laughed about the good ole days and tinkered around with the new items we received! The day couldn't have been any more perfect and I am thankful for my family and the memories that we continue to create! Now I am ready to tackle the New Year and live my best life! Welp, that's all for now! I am going to sign off on the blog and I will see you guys around!
