Restyle This With That: Rocking My White Floral Dress 2 Ways This Fall & Winter!
Hey guys, welcome to a brand new blog post restyle this with that! I hope all is well! I thought I would pop over on the blog and share a little bit about this white floral dress that I thrifted a while ago! I don't know about you guys but I LOVE a good thrift find! It has taken me quite a while to master the thrifting process but ya girl finally found a system that is always a guaranteed success every time I walk into the store looking for something to wear! That's why it came as NO surprise when I was able to find a simple way to style this little white floral dress that I found recently. Now I know that you're not "supposed to wear white" during this time of year but I don't follow the rules so it was very easy for me to purchase this beauty and bring it home with me! It also didn't help that it was on sale for $4 which is a TOTAL steal in my opinion. However, I'm gonna be honest and say that as soon as I stepped in the car with my dress I almost instantly regretted it. Not because of the fact that it has florals but it was for the fact that it was a WHITE DRESS! Now, I don't think I have ever expressed my disdain for white over here on the blog but it isn't exactly my favorite color to rock and I don't have ANY of it in my wardrobe! I was starting to think that I had made an impulse purchase until I brought it home and was able to test it out amongst a few other wardrobe pieces that I have in my closet. Anyways, as I started to look around to see the many ways that I can style this my eyes fell across the one jacket I knew would make this outfit pop!
It was none other than my favorite olive green jacket that I purchased a few seasons back! I love this little jacket so much and it is the perfect look for all of those Fall colors that we all just love so much!
And of course, you know ya girl just HAD to pair this little dress with my favorite pair of cowgirl boots!
As I was putting together this outfit I honestly didn't know where I was going with any of this! I was making it up as I went in hopes that it would turn out even remotely cute! Thankfully I was able to pull this look together and my family gave me a big thumbs up when I showed them how it turned out!
As you can see, this girl is a happy camper and I will definitely be wearing this outfit this fall and winter!
The second way I decided to style this is to wear it plainly without the jacket! Voila! Magic! Ha!
I know this may have seemed like such a simple change but this way you can really see the detail of the dress! I feel like the jacket hid a lot of the floral detail but this way the dress can truly shine!
And can we talk about this little handbag? This is one of my most recent purchases and I am actually super obsessed with it! I love the burnt mustard yellow look and I feel like it really completes and compliments the entire look of this dress!
