Three Little Things I Am Keeping In My Summer To Fall Wardrobe ( I NEVER Give These AWAY)!
Three Things I Am Keeping In My Summer To Fall Wardrobe ( I NEVER Give These AWAY)!
Hello and happy Tuesday everyone! I hope all is well! Whew, we are just breezing on through September, aren't we? I don't know about you guys but I am finally ready to start pulling out some of those dark-colored clothes so that I can start looking cute this Fall! With that being said, I thought I would do the unthinkable and start pulling out some of my wardrobes from last year to see what I got to work with for this upcoming season! You know me, I am not a fan of shopping so the more I have to work with then the better I will feel about the seasons changing in the upcoming weeks ahead!
The Burnt Orange Handbag
First of all, I love this handbag! This little beauty came from the thrift store a while ago and I have been obsessed with it ever since! Strangely enough, it wasn't my favorite thing in the whole wide world BUT it has become inseparable from my wardrobe for a few years now! I love that it is burnt orange, which is one of my fav colors for Fall, which means it goes with just about anything in my closet around this time of year! I want to style it a little bit past Fall this time and see what I can pair it with during the wintertime! Either way, I am ready to start rocking this little darling pretty soon!
The Perfect Fall Shoe
Have you ever had a pair of shoes that you were just massively obsessed with? I know I have! For me, it has been these cute little brown shoes that I purchased from Tarjay a few seasons ago! I swear every time I wear these I always feel like a little superstar! However, I must say that these are the WORST shoes to wear to Sunday service if you go to a church that likes to stand for hours on end! Ha! Other than that, they are amazing, comfy, and go with pretty much everything in my closet! As a matter of a fact, if they were closed-toe shoes I would totally wear them all year round but for now, I love to rock them during the summer/fall months as much as I can!
The Fur Vest
Ok, so there is a little funny story about this vest that I just absolutely have to share! One day I discovered a new little thrift store and I had to stop by and see what it was about! I walked in, grabbed a cart, and decided to get started on my quest to find something super cute! A little while after I arrived a little old lady approached me and said, "Hey I think this would look amazing on you, try it on"! Of course, I said NO, a few times because it looked very expensive but it wasn't long before I was sliding my arms in this vest and falling in love with the way it looked on me! However, it wasn't long before I came to my senses and started to look for a tag to see the cost of this vest! To my surprise, it was only $30 and totally worth it because it was brand new out the box! I originally planned on leaving it there because I did NOT come into the store for that but the lady gassed me up so well I decided to put it in my cart to think about it! After finding one other item I decided that I wanted it and was pretty prepared to drop that $30 with my eyes closed so that I could take it home! But to my surprise, I went to the register and learned that today was half off day and I was able to get this vest for only $15! What an absolute steal! See you get blessed when you follow your heart! Ha! I am so glad that I got this little baby because even though I didn't get to wear it a lot last Fall I definitely am going to be wearing it for Fall 2019! I have so many ideas on how to style it and I cannot WAIT to share it with you guys over on the blog soon!
Anyways, that's all I wanted to hop on the blog and chat about today! I am starting to get excited about Fall style but I just need the weather to get onto one accord! Fall starts in FIVE days and I am ready to see what this season has in store for me! I hope all is well and I will see you around in this space pretty soon! Happy Wednesday yall! We're halfway through the week and I believe in you!
