Happy Diaries: Weekends Are My Favorite Thing In The Whole World + It Pays To Be Kind!
Happy Monday everyone! I hope all is well! How was everybody's weekend! I know mine was pretty lowkey and I feel like I need a few more of those in my life! Ha! Anyways, I thought I would pop over onto the blog and share with you guys a few things that have made me happy this week! Let's do this!
First things first I'm the realest! Ha! Just kidding, I honestly couldn't help myself with that one! No, but in all seriousness, I decided to pop over to the local market this weekend to do a bit of shopping! I don't know about you guys but I always feel like I shop the absolute most during this time of year! I am a firm believer that that is the reason why I always end up with a bunch of random stuff that I just don't need! Ha! I try to convince myself that it's just retail therapy but my wallet always says otherwise!
I don't know about you guys but I am going to miss wearing off the shoulder dresses during the Fall time! Even though I know most of October is gonna be very HOT I still want to try and transition them out of my wardrobe and pack them down for next summer! With that being said, I don't plan on throwing anything away just in case I may need it for next year! I made a big mistake by giving away all of my clothes last summer and then when I wanted to repurchase it again, they didn't bring any of it it back! That's why this time around I am going to be smarter about what I save and what I don't!
I am very excited to start incorporating new scarves into my wardrobe this fall! I swear it is my all-time favorite accessory and I love adding new ones to my collection every single year!
As I was shopping around today someone told me that they liked my dress and that my hair cut looked super cute on me! I don't know why but that compliment totally made my day! It was just a little friendly reminder that kindness really does go a long way people!
This may seem like a very small battle BUT ya girl finally cleaned out from under her bed today and I swear I felt the energy in my room elevate by 10! I honestly don't know how so many things end up under my bed at almost 29 years old but if anyone else can figure this out then let me know the secrets!
Yall, I found the yummiest candles for my room that made it smell like Fall has arrived full force! Ha! I don't care what anyone says but the best part of Fall is definitely all of those yummy scents! #YASSSSS
Last but not least, I was able to find a few things that will keep my lips and skin moisturized for Fall! My skin always gets soooo dry during this time of year but this time I plan on getting ahead of the curve! The last thing I want to do is let my skin get dehydrated before I can get control of it so the best thing to do is to stock up on all the necessities!
