Toes Out To Show Out: Walking In All The Shoes I Can Get My Hands On This Summer!
I am one of those people that are so unbelievably hard on summer shoes and I don't exactly know why! Do I walk harder in the summer? Am I heavier when it's warmer outside? Like what is the deal! Well, whatever it is, all I have to say is that I am absolutely tired of having to replace my favorite pair of sandals every single year! With that being said, there must have been something in the air during summer 2019 because I found a few pair that appear to still be in amazing shape and we are all the way in August! This post may seem a bit dramatic (what's new around here) but I swear you can ask any family member and they will tell you that I am harder on shoes than a kindergartener who has recess twice a day! Ha! But with that being said, let's talk about some of my favorite summer steppers to date!
This first cute little yellow pair came from Walmart and when I tell you guys that I am beyond obsessed! I have worn these shoes during every occasion from grabbing groceries all the way to littles dates at the movies! I always get compliments every time that I wear them and people seem to actually be shocked every time I say I got them from Walmart! I am going to tell you right now that I loved these shoes so much that I even went and purchased them in other colors as well! You probably would too if you found a cute and affordable shoe that only cost $9.88! What a steal!
Did you think I was joking when I said that I also purchased the same shoe in other colors? #seriously
Strangely enough, I don't own plenty of shoes that are black but for $9.88 I was willing to make it work! Ha! I thought I would end up wearing the yellow ones more than the black ones but I actually wore them an equal amount of times! The black pair are super universal and goes with pretty much anything in my close which is a major plus for me! Even though they aren't as attention-grabbing as the yellow shoes, they definitely get the job done on those days when I just want to keep it really simple!
I know some people may feel some type of way about buying shoes from the thrift store but I am absolutely in love with these cuties! As soon as I saw them I was hoping and praying that they would come in a size 7 so that I can take them home with me! Thankfully I was blessed that day and as soon as I slipped my foot inside of them they fit like a glove! I have been in love with these shoes ever since I brought them home and have worn them with just about every single outfit in my closet! If you ever have any doubt in your mind about purchasing shoes from the thrift store then I would highly encourage you to do so!
