QUICK OOTD: PINK Is THAT Color And Always Provides Me With GIRL BOSS Energy!
Hey, Hey, HEY! It's FRIYAY and I am ready to play! You guys know how excited I get when it comes to the weekend because that means I get to hang out with the fam and live my best life! Ha! This week has been the longest week in the world and I honestly feel like I want to be in my bed sleeping and watching a few movies on Netflix! Sometimes life is strange and you just need moments to pour back into yourself! I was never one who took self-care seriously until I graduated undergrad in 2017! I never realized how vital it was to take time off and enjoy the quietness around me! I am just such a busy body by nature and I find it very hard to sit down and relax! Can anyone else relate to this? I know I can! I am all about balance and when I start to feel out of whack it really throws off my life! That's why I took it upon myself to get up and get cute for the day because for some reason it always boosts my confidence up a few notches! Ha! Don't get me wrong, I love my days where I am in joggers with no makeup on (which is more often than I'd like to admit) BUT too many days of that makes me feel unproductive and sluggish! I am a firm believer that appearance isn't everything BUT it does matter to a certain degree.......at least for me anyway!
I feel like maybe I have said this before but pink is my absolute favorite color in the world and it always has been! When it comes to my wardrobe, I love colors that compliment my skin tone and I love to gravitate towards anything pink, orange, yellow or Fall inspired! That's why when my eyes fell on this little jumpsuit I knew I had to have it! Not only was it the perfect fit but it can be styled in so many different ways! This is definitely going to be a Fall/Winter staple in my wardrobe for sure!
I don't care what anyone says but once I get cute for the day, my entire energy changes and I feel like I can take on the world!
PS: does anyone else keep a pair of shades on deck in the summertime? *raises hand quietly* I know I do! Even though I would like to say it was for a fashion statement I will be honest and tell you it's mainly because my eyes are super sensitive to the sun and I squint massively bad when I am outside! You won't believe how many photos I had to sift through of my eyes closed! Ha! reallllll classy!
I am not gonna lie, even though I am super excited for Fall, a big part of me doesn't wanna see summer go! I don't know what it was about this summer but it was very relaxing and chilled! Every time Fall rolls around I always start to feel like we are entering the unknown part of the year that no one likes to see coming! I have come to the conclusion that I have to embrace the seasonal changes not only in my personal life but my career as well! I am a firm believer that this is what they mean when they say adulthood is the WORST hood to be in!
But God is good and I know that no matter what I will make it through this little season called life!
