Nightly City Outing: Hanging Out With The Gals, Getting Icecream And Other Fun Things
Hello and happy Wednesday everyone! Whew, chile, life lately has been a whirlwind but ya girl is making it through! Ha! Sometimes you just gotta roll with the punches and make decisions that are best for you! One of the best decisions I made recently was to spend a little bit of time with my family out in the city! With school quickly approaching I must say summer is starting to feel like it is officially over! But for some strange reason, I am not ready for summer to be over just yet. I am normally one of those gals that cannot wait for all things Fall but I just feel like I need a few more snow cones before I start looking in the direction of pumpkins and cozy scarves! With that being said, I knew I needed a little night on the town just to enjoy summer one last time before "real life" kicks in again!
The more I started to think about summer ending and August zipping by, the more I felt like I needed a little bit of fresh air! I decided to hop out of bed, put on my favorite orange jumpsuit and head out into the night! Grant it, I didn't have any clear plans but sometimes NO plans are the best kinda plans!
For some reason, this felt a little bit spontaneous for me because I am the type of gal that likes to have a mission and a plan for the day. I do not like to walk around aimlessly trying to figure out what I want to do for the day. I always feel more accomplished if I have a specific destination but tonight was totally different. Tonight I just needed to wander and let life take me wherever I needed to be. I didn't care where I ended up I just knew I wanted to get some fresh air and have a little bit of fun for the evening.
Something I am going to always enjoy is walking outside and really breathing in the fresh air! It's so easy to get caught up in always being on my phone or overworking myself that I seem to forget to plan my "me time" when it is needed the most!
I do feel like I have gotten a lot better with the way I spend my time hence the reason why I am out and about treating myself to a few sweets to close the long workday!
As usual, my sisters and I had to stop and take a few selfies! I chose to share the funny picture because for some reason we can never seem to get it together when we try to take pictures together! Ha! The funny thing is, people always offer to take our photo for us but there is something I love about having a good ole fashioned selfie to have in my little memory bank!
As usual none of us could decide on what we wanted to have as our little sweet treat for the evening! For some strange reason, I had this little urge for small ice cream cone so I listened to my heart and started to scope out a cute little ice cream spot around the corner! Thankfully, my sisters and I all agreed and we all started to race to see who would make it to the door first! Spoiler alert: Moriah won!
You guys, when I say this was the worlds best ice cream! It was soooo yummy and I wish I could have taken a gallon home with me! I decided to go for the sweet cream and birthday cake flavor and I do not regret it! Sometimes you just need a night out with your sisters, enjoying the fresh air with a side of the worlds best ice cream! Anyways, that's all I kinda wanted to chat about today! Nothing too fancy as usual! I'm signing off for the evening and I'll see you around on the internet!
