Our Fun Weekend Visiting Magnolia Market In Waco, Texas: Yummy Cupcakes and Shopping!
Hello everyone! I hope all is well! I just wanted to pop over onto the blog today and talk about a cute little road trip that my family and I decided to take this past weekend! Now before I get started, I must say that I LOVE me some Chip and Jo and I watch Fixer Upper faithfully and dreaming of having my own little home/space one day! Their style is so easy going and reminds me sooo much of Louisiana (which is my original home) and I am obsessed with anything that they have to offer. That's why it was a no brainer to make a little trip to Waco, Texas so that we can visit Magnolia Market and bask in all of its glory! Grant it, it was our first road trip of the summer and we couldn't have chosen a better city!
Anyways, that morning we got up very early and headed on our way to Waco! I decided to pack my clothes with me so that I can be comfortable on the ride there and work on a few blog posts to kill time! It wasn't long before we were getting closer to our destination and so I started to get dressed and apply my makeup in the car! As soon as we arrived I could hear my baby sister yelling "we're here we're here" in the background and I knew it was my cue to wrap it up so that we could start exploring everything around us. I decided to toss everything into my bag and hop out of the car so that I could get the day started! Is it weird that I was secretly hoping I would meet Chip and Jo today? Ha! *in my dreams*!
Well, as soon as I arrived I was in awe at how cute this place actually is! There were so many things to do that I didn't even know where to start!
Even the little bathroom signs were cute and very Fixer Upper styled! I am living for it yall! Ha!
And of course, there was plenty of food to eat and sooooo many options! I couldn't even keep up with the amount of yummy food truck options they had to choose from!
And you guys know I couldn't wait to do a little shopping! There were sooo many options that I didn't even know where to start! You could choose from coffee mugs to wicker baskets and so much more!
I literally wanted to take everything with me and redecorate my entire room, future home and life! Ha!
Oh, and did I forget to mention how friendly the people are? Everyone was so chipper and nice which is a big switch to what I'm used to from Dallasites! Ha! There was a kind older man who offered to take our picture and of course we couldn't turn him down! He even put on his little seeing glasses so that he could make sure he got our picture just right! I think it turned out amazing if I do say so myself!
"The Good Ol' Days Are Still To Come" is the perfect motto for the rest of 2019! Who's with me?!
And here is the perfect family photo that was taken by another lovely lady at the Magnolia Market! We really enjoyed our time and I know you can't tell by this photo but we were absolutely full from all of the treats that we consumed while we were here! Ha! A family that eats together, stays together! Right?!
And speaking of treats, you know I could NOT leave the Magnolia Market without trying those yummy cupcakes that literally everyone raves about! As soon as I saw the menu I was overwhelmed with all of the amazing options that they had to offer! There was Strawberries n' Cream, Vanilla, Nuts n' Bolts, and soooo much more! However, my hunt for the perfect flavored cupcake came to an end when I saw my most FAVORITE flavor in the whole entire world! Can you guess which one I chose?
If you guessed Lavender then you sure are right!! I decided to go for the Lemon Lavender cupcake and it was the yummiest thing in the entire world! You guys know I love anything Lavender flavored and I know how hard it is to catch the true essence of it but this little bakery did it perfectly!
And here is the face of a young woman who not only enjoyed herself but is also very pleased with her cupcake! Ha! I can honestly say that this was the best day ever and I really enjoyed myself at the Magnolia Market! If you're ever in Waco, Texas then I would highly recommend it! Anyways, I am signing off for the day! I just thought I'd share a few of my thoughts on the family trip I took recently! Enjoy your Thursday!
