Life From The Outside: Our Days In The City + I Paid HOW MUCH For This Dress?
Hello everyone and happy Monday! Today I overslept and got a late start on life but better late than never right? Ha! Sometimes you just need those extra moments of sleep to reenergize yourself for the day! Since I didn't have my life together I decided to cook a late brunch from home, make a nice cup of coffee and treat myself to a homemade face mask! These may seem like such simple things BUT it has given me the energy to work on today's blog post and that's Alllll that matters at the moment! LOL!
Anyways, let's talk about this little dress, shall we? I found this little gem online from a store called CottonOn and it couldn't have entered my life at a better time! During the summertime, I love wearing dresses that are convenient and breezy because it gets unbelievably hot here in Texas and ya girl doesn't have time to be sweating all over the place! Before I continue further into this post, can anyone of you guess how much I paid for this dress? It was actually SUPER affordable and cheap that even I couldn't believe it when I saw it! Yup, you guessed it.....
It was ONLY $5! Yes, you heard me! How amazing is that! This style of dress is easily running $30 at the moment so when I saw it on sale I had to have it! Not only is it great quality but it fits like a glove!
I decided to pair it with my little sandals and bag from Altar'd state with a few tiny accessories to match! I can honestly say that this dress is going to be my go-to for the rest of the summertime!
With my new dress in tow, I decided to take a little twirl out into the city! I feel like July is snatching my wig so I made sure to plan a little day with my family to hang out and relax. I love going to the museum because it is very quiet and gives me a lot of time to appreciate art and think about my life.
There were so many different pieces that I loved and wanted to take home for myself but since that's not allowed I just settled for pictures instead! Ha!
Of course, my family and I settled for a few funny faces to take at the end of the day! We love a good family selfied and hadn't taken one in a while so I knew it was time for an updated #summerselfie2019!
I swear we can be a regular family sometimes so here's a "simple" selfie for the evening! Ha! This is our faces post donuts and I can honestly say we enjoyed ourselves! These little moments of summer have been the absolute BEST and I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world!
