Thrift Diaries: EVERYTHING I Purchased, Saw And LOVED At The Thrift Store This Weekend!
Hello, my beautiful people! I hope all is well! Today I thought I would pop in and share with you all of the beautiful things that I saw at the thrift store this past weekend. If you're anything like me, then you probably find the thrift store relaxing and therapeutic. I can literally walk around in the thrift store for hours looking at all of the little treasures that are no longer sold in mainstream stores at the moment.
There is always something that can be found at a more affordable price, for instance, this cute little wicker basket! Right now, these are running around $40 but here at the thrift store, it was ONLY $7.99!
I also saw these cute little bracelets as well I wanted to purchase them all so bad because they were super affordable but I have such tiny wrists that I wouldn't be able to wear them properly! #SADFACE
Now I know this is a very strange one BUT, look at this vintage Mickey clock?! I am sure that you can't find anything like this on the market right now because it is so unique! Too bad it doesn't fit ANYTHING in my place because I would have totally purchased it! Besides, I'm more of a Minnie Mouse type gal anyways! Always have been and always will be! Ha!
I have always been a sucker for pearls! I don't normally wear them in necklace form but I absolutely adore them as earrings! For a second I contemplated purchasing these but they would have been more for decor than for wearing out and about.
And speaking of decor, you know I couldn't help myself when I decided to take a little peep at what they had to offer! It was nothing much but I did think that the clear cross was unique and cute! #God
They even offered lots of affordable fabric for all of those sewers and crafters out there in the world!
Of course, you know I had to take a little look at the Texas theme section! I am a Louisiana girl by heart but love a good Texas aesthetic every now and again! *
Forever wishing Joanna Gaines could fix my life*!
And last but not least, I decided to take a little peep into the clothes section! Normally, I can find some pretty awesome things in this area but today it was lacking! Sometimes you just gotta know when to let it go and either move on to another store or just start looking for something else entirely different!
What I Bought Today
Even though finding an outfit was a total fail, I can honestly say the entire trip wasn't a loss! I did get a few new things that I am obsessed with this little burgundy bag was one of them. I have been looking for a cute colored crossbody bag for quite some time now so you can imagine my surprise when I saw this one hanging on a rack in the middle of the store. I don't know why so many people passed it up but maybe it was being saved just for me! Ha! This little thing was only $3.99 and it was sooo worth it!
As soon as I laid my eyes on these cute turquoise earrings, I knew I had to have them in my life ASAP!!
When I asked the kind woman to bring me the earrings from behind the display, I knew that these were the ones for me! I love the bright blue color because it just reminds me so much of summer! When I asked what the price was and she told me that they were only $1.49 I knew they were coming home with me! Not only were they affordable but they were also very stylish! I am sooo in love and am happy to have them added to my growing jewelry collection. I don't know exactly what I am going to pair them with but that's the beauty of it all, style is innovative and you can make it into whatever your heart desires! I'm sure I will pop these on with a denim jacket but who knows! #weshallseeVERYsoon
And last but certainly not least, I found this cute little ring for only $1.99! And the surprising thing about it is that it fits like a glove! I have such tiny hands that it is very hard to find rings that fit my hands so when I find one, I always make sure to try it on before I make that final purchase. This little ring was so perfect that I wanted to wear it straight out of the store! Out of all of the items, I would say that the ring was my absolute favorite! What was your favorite item that I purchased today? Better yet, when you thrift shop, what's your favorite thing to look for?? Let me know in the comments down below! I hope you guys have an amazing Tuesday! See ya tomorrow!
