The Best Lipstick, New Makeup Brushes, And The Best Lip Chap For Dry Lips!
Hello everyone and happy Wednesday! It is finally Spring and I am happy to say that I have added a few little things to my beauty basket! I didn't go overboard but I did decide that I needed a few things to put a little pep into my step! I normally like to buy the same things over and over but this time around I decided to try out a few new products and lip colors! I am excited to share with you guys everything that I have purchased lately! Down below is a little snippet of everything I bought this past weekend!
I purchased a few new makeup brushes to my collection! I felt as though it was time to replace these with a few old ones because they were starting to wear pretty thin. I have also had a few breakouts in my face lately and have decided that it was time to update the brushes that I was using before! I decided to go with these three and they have been working wonders! The one in the middle does really well with highlighting my cheekbones and nose while the one on the left does really well at highlighting my inner eyelids! I normally use the one on the right to blend in any harsh lines that I have made and it has been doing a good job at that as well!
Something else I have been loving as well is my Rosebud Salve lip chap! My lips have been severely dry lately and this stuff works wonders! They well this in many flavors but I always opt out for the original scent, which normally smells like baby powder! I also love that this chapstick has a small number of ingredients and can also be used on the hands and body as well!
Lately, I have been all about my natural eyelashes and so I really needed a mascara that would work well for me. The Maybelline Great Lash has been a favorite of mine since high school and I couldn't wait to replace it! The mascara gives great coverage and makes the eyelashes look full, dark and long! If there is one makeup item that I would say is an "All-Star" in my life, it is definitely this one!
And last but not least I purchased a new Maroon lipstick from Sephora! It is smooth, creamy and goes on like a charm! I really love this one as more of an "everyday wear" compared to my normal matte look! I really feel like every girl needs that one lipstick that you can slip in your bag and reapply at any time throughout the day! I really feel like this may be m favorite purchase out of the bunch mainly because I love this color on my lips! Do you guys think I should try a different shade of lipstick? I find it really hard to step outside of my comfort zone when it comes to makeup but I feel like that really needs to change!
