As soon as I wake up in the morning, I always say a small prayer and thank God for giving me another day to see life. As soon as I am done with that, I love to lay in bed for a few extra minutes before I actually get the day started. The next thing I like to do is GO STRAIGHT to the bathroom and brush my teeth and wash my face. I know some people can eat their breakfast without brushing their teeth because it makes the food taste weird but I personally cannot do that! I have to wash out all of the germs out of my mouth before I even get started with the day! Anyways, I am not an early eater so I like to handle other business before I start to eat breakfast. I honestly think the reason I have such bad eating habits is that I can't eat within decent time frames. I am trying to change this about myself and I know it's going to be a work in progress but it's still one of my biggest goals to date.

I can't stress this enough but these are the best bagels in the world! Cinnamon Swirl tastes so amazing with cookie butter and this is not up for debate! Anyways, back to the post shall we?

However, the one thing that I can enjoy early in the morning is a warm cup of coffee. It's like as soon as I wake up, I have to have it instantly! Making coffee is apart of my daily routine and I just don't know who I would be as a person if I didn't have at least one cup!

I also LOVE to have my cookie butter spread over a delicious bagel with bananas cut on top! It is the yummiest, fastest breakfast and I have it at least three times a week! I started eating bagels in college and I can't believe I was missing out on them for so long!

The one thing I have learned when it comes to breakfast is to find things you know you will enjoy in the morning! I normally like warm things so cereal doesn't work for me! That means every week I need to invest in items like grits, oatmeal, and bagels! I try not to be too picky when it comes to breakfast but choosing what I like motivates me to eat in the morning!
