Visiting Rhino Coffee Shop In Uptown And Downtown Shreveport, Louisiana!
If you don't know anything else about me just know this... I LOVE COFFEE!!
As soon as we arrived, there were cute little signs everywhere that showcased upcoming events, drink specials and so much more. I don't know about anyone else but when it comes to a cute coffee bar, ambiance is a major key and this place had it all!
It wasn't long before I spotted the menu from across the room! My boyfriend already knew what he wanted but I needed a little more time to check out all of my options! I really wanted to try something new! I decided to go for the Iced Lighting Coffee and my boyfriend followed the same order!
One of my favorite things about this place is that they give you this cute little log to hold while you wait on your number to be called! I thought that was super cute and unique and I honestly could not stop talking about it! I wanted to keep it for myself as a little souvenir BUT I knew I would be going overboard if I asked to take it home! Ha!
As soon as the first portion of our order arrived, I couldn't wait to finally taste the coffee that my boyfriend had been raving about! When I took my first sip I knew it would be good but I didn't know it would be THIS good! The coffee was so smooth, sweet and just how I like it! I am pretty sure that I consumed the entire thing within five seconds and it was completely worth it!
Of course here's a look of satisfaction on my boyfriends face because not only is his coffee super delicious today but he also knows he did a great job with picking out a cute coffee shop that I now love more than him! Just kidding...but not really!
We also decided to make two orders of their Rhino Burrito which is an egg, cheddar, and bacon wrapped in a warm tortilla and served with a side of salsa! You can also add extra bacon, turkey, avocado and roast beef if you'd like but I decided to keep it simple and order the tortilla wrap in its original form! Anyways, as soon as I took a little bite I was instantly in love! That burrito was sooo yummy I was almost tempted to buy one to go! It was a rather big burrito so of course I only finished half of it but that's ok because the other half turned out to be a delicious snack for later on in the day!
As you can see, I really enjoyed my visit to Rhino Coffee and would totally go again when I come strolling back into town! Oh, and I forgot to mention that the staff was super friendly, chatty and very accommodating the entire time and I could feel the southern hospitality within the atmosphere and that's what was most memorable to me.
I am a true southern gal at heart and I love to be in places where I feel welcomed, comfortable and at ease! I don't know about anyone else but to me, the experience at a coffee shop is just as important as the drink and I can honestly say that Rhino Coffee offered it all and more! If you're ever in town I would highly recommend this cute little coffee to sit down, eat good food, relax and enjoy the atmosphere! Anyways, that's my little input about this place and let me know if you go!
