Striped Pants And A New Bag To Match My Sass + My New Found Love For Twilight
Hello and happy Saturday to everyone!! It's finally the weekend and I couldn't be more excited about it!
I don't have any grand plans for the weekend besides attend church and do a little organizing around my room but that's about it! I plan to keep the weekend nice and calm since its the first weekend of the New Year! Also, speaking of having a calm weekend, you guys wouldn't believe what movies I have been catching up on over the week......! Twilight! I have been glued to the screen watching the entire series like I have never seen it before. I know this may sound crazy but I like it better now as an older adult than when I was a younger adult because now I have more patience to actually sit down and pay attention to what's actually happening in the movie. I have to be the one to finally admit that I am late on the Twilight train but it's better late than never. Ha! Anyways, enough about my little Twilight spiel here's a little look at the outfit that I wore yesterday!
One of my favorite things about this time of year is its rate ability to feel like spring one day and be a full-blown winter goddess the next. *major eye roll*.
My favorite piece of this entire outfit is my striped pants! I am just now getting into striped pants and tops and I must say that I am obsessed. I purchased this pair of pants from Forever21 last season and I have been wearing them ever since. I love that they can be styled in so many different ways during different seasons and it has become a key staple in my wardrobe this time of year. PS: the denim jacket that I have on is from the thrift store and I actually cut off the sleeves to make it look like a vest! I guess all of those fashion classes in high school finally paid off! Ha!
The earrings that I have on are so cute and from a local festival/thrift store that I stumbled upon last summer! The moment that I laid eyes on the ear cuffs I knew I had to have them. They are very unique and really compliment my short haircut!
And of course, you better know that I found this bag on the clearance rack at Target for only $6! It was a total steal and I just could not believe I found something that was so cute and affordable!
And last but not least I cannot end this post without talking about my new pair of mules! I also found this cute little pair at Target for only $7! Now normally I wouldn't wear mules and have pretty much sworn against them since their arrival but I think they may have grown on me now! I am pretty sure that I want to invest in a few more mules for my winter/spring wardrobe! I guess when it comes to my personal style it's all about learning what works for me and what doesn't! At the end of the day, I wear what makes me feel comfortable and confident and I think I may have a good idea on what I want my future looks to be this season! Anyways, how do you plan to spice up your wardrobe this season?
